About Me

Manthila-15.jpg

I absolutely LOVE the outdoors. Hiking and camping in the summer bring me so much joy and peace. That said, I also enjoy spending time indoors playing video games—my favourite is Red Dead Redemption 2. Of course, photography remains my main hobby, and I often convince my friends to join me for portrait shoots.

I’ll be graduating from the University of Melbourne in December 2024 with a Master of Mechatronics Engineering. If you haven’t seen me around the unimelb campus lately, it’s because I was busy working on my final year project where my team and I developed a hand mobility device to help stroke patients perform rehabilitative exercises.

To fellow photographers and prospective clients, feel free to explore my Instagram and website. DM me if you'd like to collab or to book a session. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi there!
I'm Manthila

I'm a Melbourne based event and portrait photographer. I specialise in photographing networking events, corporate gatherings, competitions, balls, and personal branding portraits.

Back in 2022, I started photographing events for a student society I was a part of. Through this, I realised how beneficial it is for organisations to have photos of their events on social media for prospective attendees to see. So, I launched this business in early 2023 in hopes of bringing that benefit to a wider audience. I love working with and photographing people; seeing the big smile that appears on their face when they see their photos on my camera never gets old.

Editing Process

Events:

I capture the events as they are, and that same principle applies to the editing process.

My goal is to emphasise the energy and liveliness of your event by enhancing the lighting and colour balance. I like to highlight the key moments and details of your event in a way that draws the attention of viewers.

Portraits:

Some photographers opt to heavily retouch images, but I prefer to keep you looking natural. My approach to editing is minimalistic, focusing on enhancing your natural beauty while maintaining the authenticity of the moment.

That said, I will remove temporary blemishes such as pimples and bruises, but I am more than happy to keep in anything you ask me to!
