How it works

EVENTS
Step 1: Contact
When you reach out via the contact form or any other method, we will discuss availability and details about the event. When you are happy to go ahead with the booking, I will send you the booking form to complete.

Step 2: Payment
Once you complete the booking form, I will send you an invoice. Full payment before the event is preferable. Payment after the event is also possible, however I will only be able to start editing the photos and deliver them once the full payment is received.

Step 3: Event
I will arrive at the event ~15mins early to start setting up and to discuss any specific shots you'd want me to take.

Step 4: Gallery
I will send you an email with access to an online album containing your event's photos no longer than 1 week from the event date, or from when the payment was received if paid after the event.
PORTRAITS
Step 1: Contact
When you reach out via the contact form or any other method, we will discuss availability and your preferences for the photoshoot. I'll suggest some locations based on your interests and all of the info you'd need to prepare. When you are happy to go ahead with the booking, I will send you the booking form to complete.

Step 2: Payment
Once you complete the booking form, I will send you an invoice. Full payment before the event is preferable. Payment after the photoshoot is also possible, however I will only be able to start editing the photos and deliver them once the full payment is received.

Step 3: Session
When we both arrive at the location, we'll do brief introductions and go over the plan for the photoshoot to make sure we're both on the same page. Then we'll start the shoot right away. I'll show you the photos I take throughout the session so you have an idea what they will end up looking like. At the end the session, I'll let you choose your favourites so I can make sure they make it to the final album.

FAQs
EVENTS
Q) What types of photos will you take during the event?
​
A) That depends on the event! Generally I will take a lot of candid photos, which allows you and other attendees to enjoy the event and participate in it without me getting in the way. That said, in social events I will go up to attendees and take some posed shots. Attendees are also free to come up to me and ask for a posed shot of themselves.

Q) How many photos will you deliver?
​
That depends on what happens during the event. The more parts there are to an event (presentations, socialising/networking, photowall), the more photos there will be, naturally. I will always make sure every part of the event is covered, so the final photo count in the album will be different for every event.

PORTRAITS
Q) What if I don't know how to pose?
​
A) That's why I'm here! You don't need to know anything about posing or do any research beforehand. I'll guide you on what poses to do during the session.

Q) Will you be posting my photos on social media?
​
Social media is one of my main methods of advertising, so there is a high chance I will post your photos on my instagram account @manthilarphotos and this website. However, if you are uncomfortable with that, please let me know and we can work something out.

Q) Can I bring someone with me to the session?
A) Absolutely! You are more than welcome to being along family/friend/pet with you and take some photos with them. Remember that these will count towards the final count.
